Updating the Jobs Victoria narrative and language guide to reflect the new website content
Objective
User experience was at the heart of the Jobs Victoria website redevelopment. A major content goal was to create easier access to Jobs Victoria’s services, both for people looking for work and businesses looking for staff.
The written content needed to cater to diverse audiences, including Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) members of the community and people of all literacy levels. As well as advising on site navigation, our brief was to simplify the pathways to service through inclusive, human-centred and accessible language. Jobs Victoria also translated key information into 22 languages.
Outcome
More accessible language and simpler navigation
Content Empire partnered with Jobs Victoria to create content for its new look website, launched in time for a statewide advertising campaign. More accessible language and simpler navigation has dramatically improved the user experience for diverse Victorian jobseeker and business audiences.
