Objective
Victoria’s Road Safety Partnership brings together five government agencies to coordinate and implement road safety initiatives across the State:
- Department of Transport and Planning
- Traffic Accident Commission
- Victoria Police
- Department of Justice & Community Safety
- Department of Health
With a strategic requirement to define and unify key road safety messaging across the Road Safety Partnership, the cross-agency team needed a centralised approach to communications. Key deliverables included a readily accessible “go-to guide” to inform their communication materials, and ‘self-paced’ educational tools for new comms staff.
The Department of Transport and Planning engaged Content Empire to lead a six-month project to elicit a clear set of requirements and produce a range of tools and resource materials to ensure consistent road safety messaging across the various agencies.
Outcome
Consistent messaging across multiple government agencies
Content Empire developed a detailed communications toolkit and supporting training materials to enable communications and engagement staff across multiple government agencies to deliver coordinated and consistent road safety messaging.
Content Empire facilitated cross-agency input and coordinated feedback and approvals to ensure the materials met the needs of all stakeholders.
